Finley Community Research Center and Clinic

Our Finley clinic, located at 212 Finley Golf Course Road, serves children, couples, and families, and is where we conduct our assessment services.

About our Finley Clinic

Parking

There is ample parking Finley Clinic/CRCC. UNC students may wish to use the P-2-P Transportation Service to get to our clinic at 212 Finley Golf Course Road. Students who live on-campus may call P-2-P dispatch at (919)962-7867 and request a ride to our Finley location. When calling, make it known that the appointment is for psychological testing purposes and there is no other transportation available to you. **If P-2-P dispatch states that they do not provide rides to our location, please request to speak to a supervisor. Our location is rarely frequented, so drivers are not always aware. Please call P-2-P at least 20 – 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment. On the way to the clinic, please confirm with the driver that you are being taken to 212 Finley Golf Course Road. When your appointment is over at Finley, you may call P-2-P again to request a ride back to campus.

Although Evergreen House is in a parking lot, this parking lot is restricted to only those with particular university permits. The best parking options are town of Chapel Hill Wallace Deck and Rosemary lots, both are located on Rosemary Street.

Bus Connection

Travel to the Finley Clinic by bus requires walking from the bus stop to the clinic along a road that does not have a sidewalk. For this reason, it is not the best option. However, if you do decide to use the bus, the HU and the S lines will get you pretty close to the clinic. The best stop is #3701, which is Finley Golf Course Road and Highway-54. We provide this publicly available information as a courtesy, but we encourage you to use extreme caution if you choose to walk to our clinic along Finley Golf Course Road from the bus stop. From the bus stop, you will have to walk along Finley Golf Course road, about 0.3 miles, a 5-10 minute walk, until you reach the sign that says “Department of Psychology Community Research Center and Clinic,” on your right.

If you plan on taking the bus, we suggest that you look at the above map beforehand so you know where you’re going. We do not have a regular receptionist to call if you are having trouble locating the clinic.

We do not recommend walking on Finley Golf Course Road after dark or in inclement weather, due to the lack of a sidewalk on this street.
